Spring Style Challenge
This week, I had a blast taking part in the Spring Style Challenge put on by Style Collective! Style Collective is a beautiful community of style bloggers that I’m a part of where women from all over are able to connect, dream, and cheer each other on as we each pursue our dreams. Each day was a different challenge, like this seasons Pantone colors, or a bag with that spring flair. Each day was sponsored by a different shop, and everyone who took part in that day’s challenge had a chance to win goodies from them! I loved seeing everyone’s looks. It also made my spring wishlist a whole lot longer!!
Collaborating with Rire Boutique
For our Mixed Print challenge day,I had the pleasure of collaborating with Rire Boutique, one of the cute shops here in Midtown, Sacramento. I got to meet with Josie who owns the shop, as well as their store stylist, to create a mixed print outfit. This day of the challenge was definitely the most difficult for me. Since I hardly ever wear prints, let alone mix them, it took quite a bit of brainpower to figure out what to wear. I may or may not have had to stop in the shop a couple times to help me hone it in. This is what happens when you are detailed, overthink everything and are also indecisive– a winning combo for sure!! I don’t know how I’ve survived in the world this long. I ended up going with a cute pair of floral shorts and a tank with all of my favorite things (black, stripes, and cropped). I adore the necklace and will be able to wear it with so many things in my closet. I think the part of the outfit I love the most is the BAG!! I had my eye on it the whole time I was shopping and it ended up being the perfect accessory to complete my outfit. I had so much fun at Rire and with the whole style challenge!!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! If you follow me on Snapchat or IG, you know that I am currently in Alabama living it up on the beach for my cousin’s wedding. I can’t believe she’s getting married!! I’m enjoying the ocean, wedding festivities, and spending time with family.
